Toyota Indus Motors Announces 100% Refund with Mark-up
On Wednesday, Toyota Indus Motors
declared that it will reimburse the full value of any cancelled reservations,
plus a mark-up.
Indus Motor Company said in a statement that due to circumstances beyond its control, it is facing operations challenges never before experienced. The company added that we'll keep doing everything in our power to help and assist our consumers during these trying times.
Customers who desire to cancel
their order bookings will receive a 100% return of their deposit money plus a mark-up
payment, taking into account the economic difficulties and unpredictability.
Mark-up must be paid in full,
without any reduction for administrative costs, from the date the Company
receives payment until the date the order is cancelled.
The provisional delivery
timelines specified in the PBO for pending orders are being temporarily
advanced by at least three months in light of this uncertainty. The pricing in
effect at the time of delivery shall remain in effect.
We sincerely apologise to all of
our customers who are experiencing delays with their orders as a result of
these unforeseen events, and we want to reassure them that we are collaborating
closely with the government and regulatory bodies to reduce the delay as much
as possible.
A force majeure situation has
been created as a result of the unanticipated devaluation of the Pakistani
Rupee, government restrictions, such as the LC approval requirements that make
it impossible to import CKD kits without prior approval, and ongoing financial
uncertainty.
The current circumstances have
severely interrupted IMC's production, and we are unable to produce the
necessary units at full capacity, which has caused delays in our expected due
dates.
We currently have the ability to
predict how long these and other external factors will last, so we cannot
completely rule out the prospect of manufacturing disruptions in the near
future.
